Before Reese was born, we figured that Fuzz was going to need some alone time with mama and dada about now. We found out that Thomas the Train was pulling into Lakeville and immediately bought tickets since obsession is a light description of the relationship Fuzz has with him and his friends. We dropped Reese off with Gaga/Gumpa and headed for some alone time with Fuzz. The whole way down to Lakeville we told Fuzz that he was going to get to ride in the real Thomas and he got really excited but didn't fully understand since he is used to Thomas being about 4" long.
We got there and as soon as he saw the choo-choo tracks he went nuts. Thomas pulled up and for adults it was pretty funny because it was just the very front car that looked like Thomas and the rest were passenger cars.
We went for about a 20 minute ride through the cornfields of Lakeville and Fuzz was entertained for about the first 10 looking out the window (the whole ride was looking at cornfields). The rest of the time he played with his own Thomas on the seats. We got off and he waved by to Thomas and then we headed to what looked like a Thomas carnival (and what made this trip totally worth it).
They had a ton of games, rides, train tables, etc...and it was all free since we had already bought our tickets. Fuzz loved the James ride (which was a glorified tractor pull dressed as James the train) and went on it a bunch of times. Then we went inside and played with the choo-choos on the tables. Then came the Thomas tattoo which is his new friend. Fuzz talked to his Thomas tattoo the whole way home (we might have to invest in some for entertainment purposes).
