Madison

We were about due for a Madison trip and with David working a ton, we decided this past week was a great time. Jenna and Koen decided to join us which was great to have the company on the car ride along with getting to spend time with Reese's future husband! It was funny because we made the journey with a 2 1/2 year old, a 10 week old and a 4 week old all in the same row in the car. It looked like a mini day care in the car. Remarkably though, we made the trip in under 4 hours and only had to make a quick drive thru stop at McDonald's. When we got there, there was no hesitation from Fuzz like there normally is because he remembered Tee-Tee and Cullen right away. I had told him when we were about 10 minutes away from their house who we were going to see and he got really excited. As soon as all the kids were up from their nap, they all started playing right away. For the first time, there were some sharing issues but with two boys that are obsessed with the same things, that was to be expected :) The next day, while Tee-Tee went to church camp, we took the boys and the babies to the park and let them burn some energy. Then lunch and the pool! Fuzz loved being at the pool and he and Tee-Tee played a game where she threw the diving stick and they raced for it. It was really fun to watch the two of them interact. The two oldest kids even helped us take care of the babies by rocking their car seats for us...that game was great until Fuzz tried to tip Reese over. We also got a huge group photo for the first time in a long time and it only took us about 10 shots to get a good one! Reese also had a great time just watching the big kids and also playing under the gym mat (which as soon as I got home I pulled out because I had forgotten about it). I think even she was worn out as she slept the whole way home yesterday, went to bed at 7:30 and woke up at 8:30am. We all had such a fun time. Crazy to think that there are now 5 kids among the three of us but it was so great to see the older ones interact. They get more and more playful together every time we visit. And the trip always wears Fuzz out which is also a huge bonus :) Thanks again for everything Cullen!!!
