Shady Oak Beach

It is amazing how much better behaved Fuzz is when there are two of there. David took the day off to spend with us and we all headed to Shady Oak Beach in Minnetonka. Recently we have been heading to a lot of the nearby lakes and Fuzz loves tooling around in the shallow end. He has pushed it numerous times to head past the ropes and the kid has no fear when it comes to water. We even got Reese in her swimsuit and let her sit in the water. You can tell by the picture that she wasn't quite sure what to think at first. It took her about 10 seconds and she didn't mind it at all... We even got Fuzz to sit next to her for a picture or two. Fuzz even wanted to wear Reese's pink hat. Fuzz watched some older kids jump off this mini-dock they had so he started to do the same thing. He thought it was pretty funny to count, "one, two, free..." and launch himself in. Although "launching" is more like stepping off the dock. Shady Oak is awesome in that it has a sprinkler pad, park AND beach so there is so much to do. Fuzz just went between all three and had a blast. There was not one complaint when we left because he was so exhausted and full from the huge lunch he had just eaten.
