Well, we won't have a gymnast in Fuzz...

We went to Gleason's gym this morning, which is a gymnastics gym down in Eagan. The place is awesome that they open it up every Friday morning for open gym and they leave all the fun stuff out (trampolines, bars, pit filled with foam, springy floor, etc...). The last time we went, it was packed but because the weather was nice today, it was almost empty in there. Fuzz almost immediately went to the springy trampoline floor (I'm sure that is the technical term) and was sprinting back and forth and launching himself into the pit filled with foam. Then he realized that people could swing on the bars. He saw a kid (probably 5 years old) hanging upside down from the bar and decided he wanted to try it. I could not stop laughing because Fuzz absolutely could not figure out how to swing and get his feet up. Let me preface this whole story by saying that I attempted gymnastics at the Weber warming house when I was probably 4 or 5. My career didn't last very long as I couldn't even hold myself up against the wall in a handstand due to a severe lack of upper body strength. The coach even went so far as to tell my mom that gymnastics wasn't in my future and I should probably quit. I'm guessing gymnastics isn't in Fuzz's future either as I'm hoping a) he's too tall for that sport and b) he won't like their uniforms :). As evidenced by the pictures, I'm pretty sure it isn't in his future anyway...he tried and tried and finally I went and helped him (after I stopped laughing at him) flip over the bar. Gleason's definitely did its job though as we were there for a good 90 minutes and I knew it was time to go when I found Fuzz in this pose asking to go "ni-ni." I had to blare the radio so he didn't fall asleep on the way home (it was only about 11:30 am fyi...). Fuzz One-Liner Another quick Fuzz one-liner too...yesterday, he gave the dog part of his cereal bar after I had already told him not to. As soon as he did, I told him to get in his naughty chair. He looked at me with a dead straight face and said, "ZIP IT mama." I busted out laughing so now of course I have heard it about 10 times already today. I'd like to thank Dada for that phrase as he tells the dog to zip it all the time.
