Green Lake was taken over by kids!

Fuzz, Reese and I headed to Green Lake, WI on Friday after school while David was in Philadelphia for business (he flew in and met us on Saturday). The car ride there went as smoothly as can be expected (except for Fuzz watched movies and did not nap the entire way there). We got there and immediately Fuzz recognized Cullen's car and got really excited. We went to dinner with the Gustavson's and then came home and waited for everyone else to get there.

For the first time, we put Fuzz and Tyra in the same bed to see how that worked. We read them books and did their normal bedtime routines and we thought they went down right away. Nope...about 45 minutes later, we went in to check on them and Tyra told her dad, "Fuzz won't stop talking..." Can you tell Fuzz was excited to have someone to talk to that would actually listen? When Cullen went in to check on them a few hours later, when we knew they were asleep, this is what we found. Fuzz totally monopolizing the bed and Tyra looking like she was trying to escape from him ;)

Saturday, we got the treat of going to the spa for the afternoon while the dads watched ALL the kids and watched the Gopher/Badger game. Thanks to Mark, Kyle and Jon for taking an extra two on while David was en route. Fuzz totally worked the system by talking Uncle Kyle into letting him out of his nap a tad early ;) And that is probably why Fuzz is still talking about Kyle a good 24 hours after we saw him last...

Saturday night, all the kids had pizza and we got them all down for bed and then the adults had some wii time. It was an absolute blast to have all the girls and their husbands together (minus Cracks) for a few beers and some video games. I could've stayed up all night doing that! And now I really want Guitar Hero because I think I might be addicted...

Sunday, the boys got their reward for babysitting by going golfing and it sounds like they all had a great time. It was so much fun to come out of our room in the morning and have a million built in play friends for Fuzz. Once we got through his meltdown land from being exhausted, he had a GREAT time playing with everyone. At one point, Fuzz, Tyra and Cullen were chasing each other around the house.Best part was once they caught each other, they had no idea what to do ;) The kids were SO careful around Reese and Anja Nymo was the baby whisperer. At one point, I was trying to pack and she started to get fussy. Anja crawled onto the bed and kept her company and even had her laughing at one point.

Reese got absolutely spoiled and even got to spend some quality time with her future husband, Koen Veenis. We even got them both to smile at the same time. It felt like homecoming with all the pictures were were taking :)

It was really hard to leave because we had such a good time, but the good news is that Cullen and clan come back in two weeks! I got mad at Fuzz at one point this morning and he asked for Kyle and then asked for Tyra. Gee, don't I know where I now stand ;)

Both Fuzz and Reese slept almost the whole way home. Until Reese had an explosion all over my car, herself, my front seat and me. She doesn't poop for 4 days and then chooses to unleash it on the way home...in the rain. Lovely ;)

Gustavson's - THANK YOU for everything! We had such a blast and can't wait to see you in a few weeks!

Below is a picture of all the kids. From left to right: Cullen Gustavson (2), Anja Nymo (2), Koen Veenis (3 months), Reese (4 months), Fuzz (2 1/2) and Tyra Gustavson (almost 4)
