Koen Cornelius Veenis!

I can tell you who my new hero is...JENNA!!!!! I got a call on Wednesday afternoon that she was being sent to the hospital to be induced (she was overdue...). We got updates from either Jenna or Kyle all day that things were progressing very slowly. Poor Jenna...after more than 24 hours of labor, and all of us sitting on our phones waiting for updates, Koen Cornelius Veenis was born! I could not even imagine going through the labor she did... Fuzz was with a babysitter this afternoon, so Reese and I headed to the hospital to visit baby Koen. It is crazy to see the size difference between the two babies in just 7 weeks. And the other thing??? Reese was 7lbs 8ozs and and Koen was 7lbs 9ozs so they were born almost the exact same size. Koen is SO CUTE!!! I think he already looks like dada (surprise surprise since all the kiddos look like their dads...) and he had super light eyebrows and the huge hands and feet! His feet at birth were the same size as Reese's right now. Mama JLo looks amazing and just so happy to finally have him here. They didn't know the gender so it was a surprise to everyone that it was a boy! The Veenis name lives on :) We have decided that we are going to have an arranged marriage between Reese and Koen, Reese being the cougar. I can't wait to see the two of them grow up together...CONGRATS TO JENNA AND KYLE!
