Such a great weekend!
The weather here was beautiful this whole weekend which is really nice because it wasn't all that warm last week. David has been working a ton lately and was able to be home for the whole weekend which was also a bonus. I'm getting to the point where moving from the couch to the bathroom is a chore so it is nice for Fuzz to have some "dada" bonding time.
Saturday, we went to visit Gaga and Gumpa since Gaga had been out of town for most of the week. Auntie Annie also took him for a walk around the neighborhood and then he played in my car for a good 30 minutes. Of course when I started my car, windshield wipers were on full blast, turn signal was on, radio was on full tilt and all the windows were down. Oh well, small price for him to sit still for a bit :)
After we left Gaga's, we met Dada at home and I went to D's bach
elorette party (had a great time!). Dada and Fuzz played "gonna git u" as Fuzz calls it. It involves David chasing Fuzz around and Fuzz yelling "gonna git u" as he sprints away. Eventually David gets him and tickles him as he falls to the ground. It definitely wore him out as he went to bed immediately after story time that night!
Yesterday, I had a baby shower for Baby Thibodeau so I was gone for most of the morning. David took Fuzz for a bike ride in the burley. We decided it was time to start making him wear a helmet as he will have to eventually anyway. I wish I had a picture because he thought he was pretty cool in his big boy "donald hat." He called it his Donald hat because there is a duck on the top (hence Donald Duck...) and it goes on his head, hence the hat. He wore it for the entire ride and now we'll see if he wears it again (I hope w/o a battle.) They got back from their bike ride and went to the backyard where Fuzz and Adi chased each other around quite a bit (with Dada too...) David sent me these pictures from their adventures in the back yard.
I have another doctor's appointment today and I'm REALLY hoping that I have started to progress (I'm not holding my breath), but things are definitely changing and there is NO WAY I will make it to my due date as I feel like I am going to have a watermelon...T-18 days and counting at the most. I will update if there is anything new when I get home :)
