Choo-Choo Museum and Sweet Pea Update

For those of you in MN with kids that like trains, this is definitely the place to go. Fuzz and I headed to the MN train museum, which is in Bandana Square in St. Paul. It is free for kids under 5 and $4 for adults and I would've paid more for the energy it burned. There are two tables that have the full Thomas the Train set up and then a HUGE display of running electric trains with all the decorations (trees, houses, street lamps, fake grass, etc...). When we got there, Fuzz yelled at the top of his lungs "CHOO-CHOO" and went on a full sprint to the Thomas table. He then realized that the big choo-choos were running so we headed on a tour of the big trains. We didn't have to wait long for a train to pass by as there were probably 5 or 6 lines running at once. Fuzz was in heaven. Every time one would go by, he would say "hi choo-choo" or "bye bye choo-choo" and loved the "geen (green)" train because it was really fast and flew by. We rotated looking at the trains and playing with the Thomas table for over 90 minutes and we had a minor meltdown when we had to leave. I plan on making that a regular visit as Fuzz said "bye bye choo-choo" the whole way home, like he had lost a friend... Sweet Pea Update I feel like I should say something about Sweet Pea as this is supposed to be a post for the two of them (although I'm sure Fuzz will take a mini-back seat once she is born...). Fuzz knows that there is a baby in mommy's tummy, but also thinks there is a baby in his tummy too...and if you asked him where your baby was, he would pull up your shirt and show you your baby too :) I have had totally uneventful doctor's appointments (which is fine with me) and I just dropped to 2 weeks in between doctor appointments, instead of 4. That scares me because this pregnancy is FLYING by. As I'm knocking on wood, I feel great and hope I continue to breeze through the remainder as I only have 3 months left and am just over a week from hitting the 3rd trimester. We are no where near having the nursery ready but we do have the bedding which is a start. Oh and we are NO WHERE NEAR a name...if only David and I could even remotely agree, that would be a start ;)

Sara and I took forever with Colin's name. I actually voted it down, but then came around very late in the game. I like the name a lot, but call him "Bud" most of the time anyway.

I bet the name you settle on will be something you've already dismissed.

Good idea on Bandana Square. I guess there is a place near/on Grand in St. Paul called Choo Choo Bob's that is really cool too. Jana loved it.

Have you been to the Clifford exhibit at the CM yet? Pretty cool...if you're into Clifford, that is.
