Fuzz's new thing is that he no longer wants to be fed by us with utensils...he will let me feed him one or two bites with his spoon and then he immediately reaches for it. This presents a
I tried to give him another spoon while I fed him with mine, but of course, he only wanted the one in my hand. I put a little bit of yogurt on his spoon and handed it to him. He immediately turned it upside down and shoved it in his mouth and the yogurt went everywhere. He thought he was pretty cool for feeding himself so he handed me the spoon back to put more yogurt on there. I did and we went on with this process until he decided he had enough. I would say
Not only could he not get all of the yogurt in his mouth, but he decided that the stuff that was falling out of his mouth needed to be all over his hands as he tried to get it back into his mouth. What you can't see in the picture on the left is that the yogurt is also in his hair. When he gets excited, he raises his hands and this time, there was yogurt all over them as he then rubbed his head.

Ahh now the fun begins...I remember thinking it was a worthless excercise to give Jana the spoon since she produced the same results as Fuzz - but now she can throw down most of a yogurt with out too much of a mess. We'll see if Fuzz goes through Jana's phase where she signifies that she's done with her meal by sweeping any remaining food off of her tray. Good times.
