Saturday
David and I started the day by waking him up and singing happy birthday. He had no idea what was going on, but he did like having the early
morning attention from both mom and dad. He then had his favorite breakfast of pancakes and eggs. Lunch followed with his favorites of turkey stix and a banana, followed by a snack of baby goldfish. Then grandma came over to play with him for the afternoon. We went to dinner with Auntie Meg/Uncle Ev, Big Uncle Mike and Grandpa and Grandma Ryerse at Bunny's. Fuzz had a really healthy dinner of BBQ Chicken, some raspberries and french fries...I promise this is not a normal meal for him :)Sunday
David and I spent most of Saturday night making the cakes and finished the cupcakes Sunday. We had his birthday party in the back room of Davannis
. Grandma/Grandpa Ryerse, Meg/Ev, Papa, Mer, Uncle Matty, Mer and Cracky were all there to help him celebrate. He had pizza for the first time and could not get it in his mouth fast enough. And it was even mom's favorite, canadian bacon/pineapple. He got a ton of really fun presents and then on to the cake. We sang happy birthday to him again and then I put a cupcake down in front of him. I put the first bite of frosting in his mouth and the flood gates opened. 
He was using both hands to get in the frosting to get in his mouth. It ended up in his hair, ears and all over his face, but he loved it. He didn't really have a lot of interest in the actual cupcake itself...all he wanted was the frosting (can you blame him??). After the frosting was gone from the cupcake, he immediately went after the frosting that was on his candle.
