It was decided that when his hair was to his ear lobe over his ear, it was time for his first haircut. We went to Kids Hair in Edina and they were awesome! They had Baby Einstein and Thomas the Train playing on all the TV's and a ton of stuff to look at.
The woman that cut Fuzz's hair (Roxanne) was so good at it. She let him touch everything before she did anything to his hair. He wasn't the biggest fan of the scissors by his ears because they were cold but once there were cheerios involved, he was just fine. She even pulled out a tiny razor to do his neck...or the fuzzy hair that was starting to be mullet like. He got a sticker when he was done and Roxanne gave me an envelope with a tiny bit of hair in it.
I am that mom that had to ask what it was for and what I was supposed to do with it. Her response? "Most mom's like to keep a strand of hair at their first haircut..." I acted like I knew exactly what she was talking about and took it :)Below are the "Before" and "After" shots.

He actually seems to be enjoying his first haircut?! He looks proud - like he knows he's a big boy now. Still dreading the mullet cut for Tyra - do they offer sedatives???
