Aafedt Family Xmas

We had the Aafedt family Christmas on Sunday at our house because Matt/Jody and the kids are leaving for California (I'm sure they are going to miss this weather...) for 2 weeks. Fuzz had so much fun with the kids, as he always does and Payton and Ryan did an awesome job teaching him how to rip open presents. He actually opened a few of his own and helped me and David open a few of ours as well. We all got so many awesome presents and it was fun to be able to host at our house. Now that Fuzz is old enough to actually know what so much stuff is, it was fun to see his reaction to all the toys he got. He wanted to open all boxes immediately so he could try out every toy. He got a toy leafblower and a ball pit from Matt/Jody/Payton/Ryan. The leafblower came with Home depot safety glasses that are hilarious. Fuzz opened that right away and even put the safety glasses on. I wish I had the camera there because he looked like he belonged on "Home Improvement." He figured out how to make it blow and then was running around the house with it yelling "YES" at the top of his lungs. The next day, it was one of the first toys he went to and had a major meltdown when I took it away as we were leaving the house. Great-Auntie Mer got him a Little People Garage that you can see in the picture. He calls it "cars" and loves pushing the cars all over the tracks. One of the cars makes a noise like it is a truck and beeps like it is backing up. Fuzz loves to guide the cars to the very edge of the ramp, push them over while yelling "weeeeeeeee, BOOM" when they hit the carpet and crash into each other. He played with this toy for almost an hour this afternoon so another HIT in our house. Mer also got him a remote controled car that I am afraid to show him how to use or I'm afraid it is going to be another mechanism to torture the dog with. He also really likes the toy that Papa gave him which was a dancing green monster. I'm not sure if it is a character from something we haven't seen yet, but Fuzz pushes the feet and it moves its arms and legs while singing. It cracks him up every time he pushes the feet. All in all, we had an AWESOME start to the holiday season. I'm just afraid now that Fuzz thinks he is going to get this many presents for every holiday!
