Potty Boot Camp - Day 1

I am going to chronicle the next week or so of our potty boot camp because I am hoping to one day read this and laugh as to how much fun it was ;)


Today was day one of no diapers...we had been prepping Fuzz that when the diapers were gone, it was time for his big boy underwear.  I cheated and just made it today since we didn't have any scheduled activities.  He got up this morning and went on his elmo potty seat with no issues...he made it the whole morning with no accidents BUT I had to put him on the potty, so we are still working on him telling me he has to go.


I put him down for a nap in his underwear and because of the exhaustion from the trip, he slept for almost 3 hours.  I went in to get him and he was sobbing (embarrassed) because he had wet the bed.  I threw the sheets in and changed his bed.  I felt bad for him because he also felt so bad.


Then he went to dinner with Gaga and Annie and had another accident in the car and again was really embarrassed.  The accident was in the lovely velour car seat...a real treat to clean ;)


So day 1...4 successful trips on the potty and 2 accidents...as long as the first total is higher than the 2nd, I consider it a good start ;)
