Sesame Street Live

I never thought I would be the mom that would go to Sesame Street Live, but this was guilt talking because David and I are out of town for Fuzz's 2nd birthday. I must admit, I was very impressed with it! The show was 1 1/2 hours with a 15 minute intermission and plenty of food and things to stare at the Target Center. We got to the Target Center and there were signs everywhere advertising the show. Every sign we saw, Fuzz yelled either "ELMO" or "COOKIE" at the top of his lungs. We let him pick out one toy and he wanted a stuffed Elmo so he held that for a good portion of the show. We sat down just as it started and the first song was every character but Elmo. Fuzz wasn't sure what to think until Cookie came out. His reaction is the picture above. I think he was excited ;) Then Elmo had his big introduction. It was hilarious as the whole place went nuts with kids screaming Elmo at the top of their lungs, including ours (as you can see by this picture...) Fuzz didn't necessarily sit in his chair the whole time, but he did pay attention to about 80% of the show. The rest of the time, he was concentrating on his popcorn or the lights above or just looking at all the people. One of the last songs was a Cha-Cha song and Fuzz thought that was pretty funny. He will now clap his hands above his head and say "Cha-Cha" just like Elmo and all his friends. Considering that Fuzz doesn't sit still to save his life, he did a great job today and I would highly recommend the show to anyone with little kids. I think we are hooked!
