Fuzz at the Park

Now that Fuzz is walking like crazy, he absolutely loves the park. We hop in the Burley (the bike trailer) and head about 2 blocks to Heights Park. He loves the wind so he just laughs the whole time in the Burley as the wind hits him in the face. It does give him a pretty interesting hairdo when he gets out though :) He loves to just walk around, go on the swings and go down the slide. Otherwise, he watches the big kids do the monkey bars, etc...

Once we get to the park, he has no desire to be with me. He
will just walk laps around the actual park, walking up and down the mini hill and then walk all over the softball field. He has no desire for me to pick him up, which is a phase he was in recently. He took quite a few diggers trying to go up and down the hill, but didn't care at all that his legs and hands were fairly scraped up. Here is a video of him walking around the back side of the park.

Once he gets tired walking around, he will walk to the baby swing and point at it. He laughs harder than I have ever heard him when he gets going really high and the wind hits him on the way back down. He would sit in that swing for hours if I let him. He will also sit in my lap and go on the big swing. He just giggles the whole time.

He will then walk over to the slide and point up at the top. I am getting premonitions as to what life will be like once he goes sledding again walking up and down the hill as I walk him up the slide time and time again. He even fell once and went down face first and thought that was the funniest thing ever. The funniest part to me is the static cling his hair does from the slide.

Good stuff...love the video, although it looks like Fuzz has something in his pants.

Static from the jungle gyms at these parks is off the charts. I've gotten shocked pretty badly. I'm glad Fuzz likes the experience.

Have you dealt with the "leaving the park" temper tantrum yet? :)
